I have a ton of things with deadlines and things I owe to people to draw, but I took a little time to get this finished. I've had this piece sketched for almost three months, but as Garhan ended up a little closer to dying than I'd like him to do in our last Pathfinding session, I felt like it would be a good time to finish this piece. If it wasn't clear yet this is my Pathfinder character, Garhan Ghaidos the tiefling Witch, and his familiar, Calanthe the goat. Sleeping on a meadow.
This really started out simple, mainly because I wanted to draw a picture of Garhan's feet and tail showing, and secondly because I want to learn how to draw people sleeping. Now that I finished it I wanted to be experimental and inked this with a brown brush-tipped pen, then colored it with watercolors and used some experimental shading. ...And that's how a simple sketchy piece turned into a piece of art I'm most proud of since a long time. I'm super happy with this piece, I really think I was able to capture a serene, storybook-like moment. I hope all of you will enjoy it too!
Faber-Castell brush-tip pen and watercolors on aquarel paper.
Seriously though, aaaaaa, thank you. ;w;
Minisarjis heistä olisi hyvin kova juttu, on vaan niin paljon deadline-sarjiksia tehtävänä... Hmmm... EHKÄ JOKU KAUNIS PÄIVÄ.
Sleeping is always better than bleeding to death.
