Pathfinder - Boris

Pathfinder character ref woop..! A bit late from schedule, but hey, at least it was sketched last month.

This guy here isn't a Pathfinder Society character, like most my others. Instead he's from a campaign of Reign of Winter.

This guy is Boris Sokol, a skinwalker - which, in Pathfinder, means someone with lycanthrope blood but isn't a full lycanthrope - witch. Also included is his familiar bat, Eirian! Boris's father was probably a werebat of some sort, though Boris never knew his father. Regardless, his heritage has left him with the ability to transform into slightly more bat-like shape and a lot of insecurities rooted in that. He compensates by being a total shut-in nerd learning magic and all kinds of stuff from books all day long and never really going outside - until he becomes a chosen one against his will and is whisked on an adventure with a bunch of other people. Great. His witch stuff has come in handy though, seeing how a lot of the hostile people Boris and his friends meet are witches as well!
As a person Boris is... Uh. Well. He's pretty smart, but has learned most of his knowledge from books and scrolls rather than from experience. Up until the adventure started, most of his regular social interactions were with the village alchemist who mentored him, or with his bat. Since he needs to talk with the bat for an hour each day to use magic. Yyyyyyeah, he's not really good with people. He's often pretty mean and sulky and brooding and a real drama queen when anything is even remotely about him. He also doesn't seem to realise that his weird bat shit makes his friends uncomfortable - or then he realises it but it never occurs to him to apologize. He tries to get better, but the progress could be faster too. One thing he really should work on would be to sound less creepy when he tries to impress Eloise, a fellow partymember he has a crush on. (He should also really see that Eloise has a lot bigger things to worry about herself.)
