Description

FINALLY CONTINUING WITH THIS. There was an unintended two-month break there because of time management issues. But now I'm back on track with the digimon redrawing again, yeah!
I'm going to do at least one more digimon this month! We're almost through.

It's Ihtiriekkomon's turn! He's my emo sheep goat.
Ihtiriekkomon is pretty straightforwardly undead - his regular evoline is more or less zombies, and the alternative line is more like ghosts! He's one of my personal favorites, and also one of the two of my digis who have finished, canon alternative evolines. I am aware it is kinda silly calling the Tervamon line "corrupted", since the regular line (Kalmamon line) is also Virus-types and Ihtiriekkomon is kinda like a corrupted offshoot of Hitsujimon, but the Kalmamon line is kinda just, undead but normal, and Tervamon line is hardcore corrupted. Kalmamon line is chaotic neutral, Tervamon line is chaotic evil. They mean serious evil business.
Design-wise, none of these guys was outright replaced, but all of them had major facelifts done - especially Kalmamon and IkiKalmamon. Some of them might look less like digimon now than they did before, but... I'm just extremely pleased with them. They look RIGHT now. I can't feel anything but pride looking at them. My silly emo boy has come a long way.

 ---------------------------------------------

Woolmon
Name Origin: English. Wool.
Level: Baby I.
Type: Fur.
Attacks
None. There’s absolutely no way for this thing to defend itself.
Personality: He's very grumpy for a young digimon and keeps to himself. One of the angriest babies you will ever meet.
Trivia: Small digimon that resembles a fluffy ball of fleece, with tail of yarn, it only seems to have one eye. It has absolutely no way to protect itself. There exists another, more common variation of this species as well.

Kademon
Name Origin: Finnish. Kateus = envy.
Level: Baby II.
Type: Lesser.
Attacks
- Keritsin (Shear) - scratches the opponent painfully.
Personality: He doesn't like the company of others at all, and has a grim outlook on life. Very angry baby.
Trivia: Small digimon with hooves and coarse fur, it has two spikes on its back and is missing an eye. Usually found from dark forests or moors, it’s closely related to the more common Sorumon species.

Ihtiriekkomon
Name Origin: Finnish mythology. Ihtiriekko is the ghost of a dead or unborn child, buried under a house.
Level: Child.
Attribute: Virus.
Type: Undead.
Family: Nightmare Soldiers.
Attacks
- Kummituslyönti (Ghost Strike) - hits the opponent – with his nasty claws.
- Aavekynsi (Ghost Claw) - kicks the opponent.
- Mätähenkäys (Rot Breath) - exhales a poisonous black and yellow cloud that causes the opponent to get sick. Depending on their immunity (attribute) they might just get slightly sick, or get a fever. Vaccine digimon are the most resistant, Virus second, Datas are most vulnerable.
Personality: Grumpy, bitter, wallowing in self pity, rude, and all around not pleasant to be around, he prefers his own company and wants to be left alone. He’s quite passive though, and will rather say awful and depressing things when confronted. However, if provoked to action, he’s quite violent and destructive, often fighting to the death. He doesn’t seem to be afraid of deletion himself, and uses quite self-sacrificing tactics. He’s quite bitter about being an undead digimon, and seems to keep all his memories every time he gets rebooted. It’s possible he used to be a regular Hitsujimon at some point… Something awful must’ve happened.
Trivia: Undead digimon resembling a sheep, it's missing an eye. Its inner structures have been damaged, and it can’t sustain itself by eating like digimon commonly do. Instead, it absorbs data straight from the environment to stay alive. Rumors say it used to be a Hitsujimon whose data was destroyed so badly it couldn't restore itself fully when it reverted to a Digitama. It refuses to shed any light on this theory.

Kalmamon

Name Origin: Finnish. Kalma is a word associated with death.
Level: Adult.
Attribute: Virus.
Type: Undead.
Family: Nightmare Soldiers.
Attacks
- Luutarha (Bone Yard; Graveyard) – the bony spikes on his back come off and drop to the ground, sinking in. This causes multiple, sharp, bony spikes to emerge from the ground and painfully trap the opponent. Kalmamon can't move when this attack is activated, but can use other attacks that don't need moving [meaning his Kalmahenkäys attack]. The spikes on the ground disappear and the ones on his back grow back once this attack is ended.
- Muurinmurtaja (Battering Ram; Wall Breaker) - rams into the opponent hard, head first.
- Kalmahenkäys (Death Breath) – exhales a yellow and black poison cloud that causes the opponent to lose one of their senses (sight, taste, smell, hearing, touch) for roughly ten minutes and causes nausea. As with Ihtiriekkomon’s Mätähenkäys, the victim’s attributes play to how severe and durable the effects are.
Personality: The same as Ihtiriekkomon, though less passive, and more aggressive. Easy to anger and prompt to fight. You don’t want that, right?
Trivia: Undead ram-like digimon with four horns and only one eye, its missing lots of inner structures and instead of eating absorbs data straight from its surroundings. It can’t outrun its prey because its bony legs get worn out easily, so usually it stalks for prey in shady places like moors and swamps. This has sparked many spooky stories about it.

NylkyKalmamon
Name Origin:  Finnish mythology. Nyyrikki was an ancient god of hunting. Nylky and Nylkys are some of the possible spellings of the name – the word “nylkeä” means “to skin” in Finnish, so NylkyKalmamon could also translate as “SkinningDeathmon”.
Level: Perfect.
Attribute: Virus.
Type: Undead.
Family: Nightmare Soldiers.
Attacks
- Nyyrikin Vasama (The Javelin of Nyyrikki) – attacks the foe with his spear, coated in dark energy. It can be used in close combat, or fairly accurately as a thrown weapon.
- Kalmalaukaus (Death Shot) – coats his spear in dark energy, and shoots a precise, lightning-bolt-like beam of dark energy at the foe from the spear.
- Raatopilvi (Carrion Cloud) – exhales a thick, dark yellow and black cloud. This cloud will attempt to numb the victim’s
breathing functions and suffocate them, risking permanent damage and deletion. Attributes have an effect on the duration and severity.
Personality: The same as Ihtiriekkomon, basically – he’s a bit more level-headed now, and thinks more logically than with just angst in his mind.
Trivia: Undead-type digimon with a partially decomposed body, exposing bare bones. It seems to hold its structure together by sheer will in some places. It wields a durable, lightweight spear of bone and steel. It is an excellent hunter, stalking its prey in dense, cold forests, cornering them before it strikes.

IkiKalmamon
Name Origin: Finnish. Ikiaikainen, ikuinen = eternal, permanent.
Level: Ultimate.
Attribute: Virus.
Type: Undead.
Family: Nightmare Soldiers.
Attacks
- Ikiroudan Aaveet (Ghosts of Permafrost) – shoots a dozen individual bolts of icy energy from his mouth. They explode to ice on contact; have a high chance of freezing the target.
- Ikirouta (Permafrost) – his ice horns glow with icy blue and anything he touches with them freezes. This can be used to trap foes for a prolonged time, or painfully shatter them to a million pieces after freezing.
- Sielunsyöjä (Soul Eater) – the cold mist emitted from his shoulders and mouth thickens, and if it’s excessively exhaled, it will simply freeze the victim from inside out, starting with their organs.
Personality: Basically the same as Ihtiriekkomon, but somehow more… Serene. He seems to have left most of the sadness behind and is just fairly passive and calm – even if he’s still very grim and pessimistic. Even less likely to start fights than Ihtiriekkomon.
Trivia: Undead digimon that’s been reduced to a skeleton, encased in permafrost. Its body is wrapped in rags, in order to hide its weak spot, the exposed core on its chest. It is a solitary creature, wandering the frozen wastelands of the Digital World aimlessly. Its presence is so cold it could prove fatal to be around it for too long – but if you dare try your luck, it will tale you tales of its countless lifetimes.

IkiKalmamon Pakkasherra
Name Origin: Finnish. Pakkasherra = frost lord, winter lord.
Level: Ultimate.
Attribute: Virus.
Type: Undead.
Family: Nightmare Soldiers.
Attacks
- Ikirouta (Permafrost) – his hands glow with icy blue, and anything he touches with them freezes. This can be used to trap foes for a prolonged time, or painfully shatter them to a million pieces after freezing. Pakkasherra can use this attack from a bit of a range as well, infusing his axe with the freezing energy, and touching his victims with the axe’s butt end.
- Sielunsyöjä (Soul Eater) – the cold mist emitted from his shoulders and mouth thickens, and if it’s excessively exhaled, it will simply freeze the victim from inside out, starting with their organs.
- Kaamos (Polar Night) – by swinging Routarauta in the air, Pakkasherra creates a vortex of the icy mist emitted from his shoulders, creating a thick curtain of mist high up in the air, blocking the light of the sun/moon, creating a stage of icy darkness. The mist cloud formed starts hailing down in a cruel blizzard, trapping the victims in a squall of icy projectiles, which have a pretty high chance of freezing on contact. (This attack can also be used indoors, but it won’t have the same scary effect if it can’t block out all the light.)
Personality: The same as IkiKalmamon – a calm, mature version of the emo kid Ihtiriekkomon was. There’s something fairly regal about him.
Trivia: The Frost Lord, King of Frozen Wastelands. This skeletal digimon is covered in armor of unbreakable permafrost, and wields the frozen Chrome Digizoid weapon, Routarauta. It is an ominous, solitary figure, wandering the frozen wastelands, and acting as a Grim Reaper, finding lost travellers claimed by the wilderness and offering them a swift release of deletion, when the time has come.

------

Tervamon
Name Origin: Finnish. Terva = tar.
Level: Adult.
Attribute: Virus.
Type: Undead.
Family: Nightmare Soldiers, Dark Area.
Attacks
- Tervasade (Tar Squall) – swings his arms wildly, hurling globs of sticky tar at the foe, in order to hinder them by gluing them to the ground, their limbs together, or anything similar.
- Tervahauta (Tar Pit) – grapples the foe in a bear hug and constricts them with his sticky tar body, attempting to suffocate them in the tar, or simply crush them to death.
- Surmahenkäys (Murder Breath) – exhales a sickly black and yellow cloud, attempting to suffocate the foe, or at least immobilize them with an awful fit of cough, which can last for as long as 15 minutes. Attributes have an effect on the duration and severity.
Personality: He’s like Ihtiriekkomon’s grim, dark thoughts gone too far and totally ravaged his mind. He is paranoid, doesn’t trust anyone, brutally aggressive, and wild. For most part he acts like a cornered wild animal, but there seems to be some sentience left in him – somewhere. Most talking he does though is delusional shouting. It’s best to avoid him at all cost.
Trivia: Undead digimon formed of long-dead bones stuck to treacherous tar, held together by the sheer hatred in its Digicore. It is like a ghost, haunted by all the bad things ever happened to it in life. It’s a violent monster not concerned with self preservation, and engaging it in a fight is not recommended.

Etämon
Name Origin: Finnish mythology. Etiäinen is a sort of spirit doppelgänger that might appear before a person actually arrives – but etiäinen can also refer to a hunch or a feeling that something is about to happen.
Level: Perfect.
Attribute: Virus.
Type: Ghost.
Family: Dark Area.
Attacks
- Takautuma (Flashback) – absorbs any (special) attack shot at him, and shoots it back at the foe. This can’t absorb physical attacks.
- Etiäinen (Doppelgänger) – creates a barrier around himself to absorb and throw back any physical attacks. This can’t absorb special attacks.
- Hurmaava Joukkohallusinaatio (Charming Group Hallucination) – creates up to three ram-like creatures out of dark energy and any kind of dirt available to fight his foes. The rams are more or less durable depending on the ground material they’re made of, and will attempt to regenerate until they’re destroyed badly enough.
Personality: Extremely hard to read. Mostly acting like a wild animal, there’s still eerie intelligence about the way he plans his actions in a fight. The only speaking he ever does is calling out his attack names. It’s hard to figure out if he’s just creepy, or outright malevolent.
Trivia: Ghost digimon with an invisible body. The only corporeal part of its being is its ancient skull, which houses its Digicore. Long time ago, it was wrapped in rotting bandages as a warning by someone who survived an encounter with it. It’s an ominous creature, often said to appear to those who are soon going to die. It has been said to stalk those it chooses as its target for weeks or months – but it never outright attacks anyone, just follows. And watches.

Ruotomon
Name Origin: Finnish. Ruoto = bones, skeleton; especially fish bones.
Level: Ultimate.
Attribute: Virus.
Type: Demon Beast.
Family: Dark Area.
Attacks
- Kulotus (Burning Off) – shoots eerie, white fireballs from his hands. This fire doesn’t actually burn with heat, but rather lack of it – it’ll freeze the opponent instead of burning them to a crisp.
- Hurmio (Ecstasy; Rapture) – dislocates his jaws wide enough to devour almost any opponent, even creatures of his own size, and chomps them down, transporting them to the pocket dimension inside his body. The space is pitch black and virtually empty, lacking clear floors or walls. Ruotomon can appear freely inside the pocket dimension to fight anyone trapped inside, and has the home field advantage. The pocket space can be temporarily disabled by defeating the projection of Ruotomon inside, or releasing enough energy to disrupt Ruotomon from the inside.
Personality: Eerily calm and sophisticated, Ruotomon, unlike Tervamon and Etämon, actually speaks – and rather intelligently, even. He speaks politely, but the topics he discusses are… Disturbing and grim. He often speaks like the concepts of emotions and affection would be totally alien to him. It’s hard to get through to him. He will often question anyone he encounters of their motives and dreams – just before he attempts to devour them. He’s downright malevolent, but unless provoked, probably the least aggressive out of all Ihtiriekkomon’s forms.
Trivia: Strange Demon Beast digimon, it is a monster born from the energy of the Dark Area. The Chrome Digizoid shackles on its body suggest it was sealed away long ago, but for what
purpose is up to question. It’s not all that strong, physically, but despite appearing like an emaciated corpse, it’s extremely durable, and hard to damage. It’s most bizarre ability is the pocket space it has created inside its body. It seems it’s also able to cross dimensions from Dark Area to Digital World and even Real World… It’s strongly advised to never engage it.
