Ghost Syndromers

Ahhhh man this is something I have wanted to draw for a long time..! And I want to draw more art of these people too. But maybe standing around in a cool way is a start?
Most people probably know I have planned a webcomic for a couple of years now and hopefully will launch it next fall or winter. These are the main characters of the comic. Or the heroes? The story is centered around Vivian a lot, but I wouldn't single her out as a main character since all of these characters are pretty much equally important for the story. ...Expect for Dull. He's the mascot animal. But each group of heroes needs a mascot animal, right?

Ghost Syndrome is (or will be) a comic about a group of people who solve supernatural problems all around, usually in their own home city. This includes dealing with ghosts, vampires, werewolves and such. The genre is action and urban fantasy and there are also grand stories of friendship and love!! Unh!

Hey! Little introductions for everyone! Left to right!!

Dullahan a.k.a. Dull is an undead puppy of undetermined breed. Dull is basically immortal, and if blown to pieces, he will always regenerate back to his basic state. Too bad his basic state includes his head being seperate from his body - the necromancer that put him together should've really chosen his corpses more carefully. Dull is a puppy and as happy and easily excited as any puppy. He is an animal and is not sentient. Lloyd hopes to find the little guy's maker, since only a necromancer can seperate a soul from an undead body.

Meredith Cross is a woman in her mid twenties who is just your everyday normal mortal. She is extremely interested in magic and occult, but alas, just because you know a lot about stuff doesn't neccessarily mean you could do stuff. She usually functions as technical support for the others since she can't really battle with supernatural monsters, no matter how much she'd like to. She's cheerful and very determined, though she has a bad habit of getting absorbed in studying. She also often tries to do experiments on her nonhuman friends in the name of research.

Ragnbjörg, though people often have trouble pronouncing her name and call her Ragna, is a troll in her early twenties. Optimistic, cheerful and easily excited, she  wants to learn more about humans and human culture. She easily finds amazement in everyday concepts of modern life. She and Meredith are "science buddies" since they're both interested in research of their own subjects, though the others point out "science buddies" sounds more like they'd be working on alchemical extracts or something. Ragna can also assume human form which she usually uses in public, though not without help since trolls aren't natural shapeshifters.

Vivian Hobbes is a girl around twenty years old that just got turned into a vampire at the start of the story and she's not really in terms with her powers yet. Though becoming a vampire is troublesome, Vivian is determined to do her part in the ragtag group of paranormal disaster preventers... Or something, they don't have a name. Vivian has a short temper and isn't always the best in social situations, but she is loyal to her friends and tries her best. She believes physical actions solve things better than talking.

Angelique is a ghost on undetermined age, classified as a poltergeist. Angelique is somewhat timid and shy, and doesn't like appearing to strangers. She doesn't like getting into conflict and usually supports the others from sidelines. She has no memory of her life, and originally joined Lloyd in hopes of discovering who she was, though nowadays she's a bit scared she'll find out about her life one day, because then she'd have to cross over.

Katsuro Kimura is a werewolf in his late teens. Katsuro was turned into a werewolf, and though he's learned to control his wolf form fairly well when he transforms willfully, he still often loses control when the transformation is forced. Katsuro appears quiet and serious, but he's a kind guy, and fairly clumsy too. He is really into cartoons.

Lloyd I. Baker is a guy in his mid thirties, and he's a medium and an empath. He has dedicated his life to helping ghosts cross over and protect regular folk from rampaging ghost. Good thing he has a whole bunch of people helping him because he's not all that good with dealing anything more solid than a ghost. He's a kind, gentle man who finds it hard to turn his back on anyone in need. He is fairly sleep deprived because he often gets messages from ghosts in his sleep.
